Want to wean off bupropion sr

I've been on bupropion sr for almost 9 years. I was on 300 mg for 7 then 400 mg the past 2. I want to eventually be off of it. But it's so hard to find anyone who has taken this long and come off it, without having to get on something else. I wanna be med free, some day. I'm also worried about what damage it's done to my body after being on it this long. Would just like to know it's possible to get off meds for good.
